Palm/Passion Sunday

This Sunday was for many years known as Palm Sunday, but is now more often called Passion Sunday. It commemorates Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, seated on a donkey, with the people laying their cloaks and palms on the ground before Him.

This is the start of Holy Week.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was thrown into an uproar. "Who is He?", the people asked.

"This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee", the crowds answered.
